Nicolas Coster has died in a Florida hospital, his daughter Dinnin said on social media. The actor was 89 years old.
Nicholas Coster was born in London and spent his childhood in the United States. Early in his career, he worked with stars such as Elizabeth Taylor. The audience remembered him for his role as Lionel Lockridge in the legendary soap opera “Santa Barbara”.
Koster also starred in the projects “Beverly Hills 90210”, “War of the Worlds”, “Star Trek: The Next Generation”, “Murder She Wrote”, “Law & Order”, “The Young Pope” and others.
Coster was married several times. He had two daughters in his first marriage and a son in his second.
In 2010, he began a pen-pal with Elena Borodulina, a 36-year-old Santa Barbara fan from Russia. Three years later, the fan and the actor legalized the relationship.
