The leveling of the floor should begin with the assessment of its condition. The most ideal option to use a laser level. If this is not at hand of this miracle of the tool, then you can use the absolutely even beam and level. So, how to evaluate the level of flooring by one or another tool. First of all, you need to take as a basis the basic level. Often, a place under the doorway, located closest to the center of the apartment, is taken. There, as a rule, the so -called “average” level. In the corners of the apartment are “influx” – this is the largest level, the center of the room is the minimum level. The task of equalizing the floor is just to lower the high level and, accordingly, raise the low level. The punch with a nozzle in the form of an awl will cope with the first task, and with the second – dry mixtures “liquid floor”. So why look for an average level, you ask, because you can just pour everything to one level. Absolutely true. But here you need to understand that given the quality of the construction and floor level, you will need 5 mm to 55 mm (even more) bulk floor to align the floor. This is not so noticeable with a small alignment area (for example, a balcony or loggia), and if we are talking about 100 or 200 square meters, then in this case we will clearly notice the difference. Finding the middle point will save your funds invested in the work at this stage. In addition, the thinner the floor, the greater the height of the rooms, and therefore the amount of oxygen, and in the city this is an undoubted plus.
After determining the height of the fill, cuts of the influx, the beacons (rails) should be placed on which the floor will be flooded.
Now we have come to the dirtiest stage of our work – filling the mixture. Very carefully study the instructions of the dry construction mixture, strictly verify the proportions when it is breeding. The requirement for the container for breeding is small. The main thing is convenience and volume. It is optimal to be considered a bucket with an internal volume of 20 liters. It is better to interfere with a construction mixer or drill (at least 600 watts) with a special nozzle. Next, pour on the floor surface and roll out a needle roller. It is better to equalize an aluminum wedge -shaped bar (it is sold in all construction stores) on the beacons that we installed earlier. Wait for the floor drying out and the flat floor is ready.
