One of the most common solutions for creating flooring is porcelain. This material is high -quality, reliable and durable. The only problem that the owners may face during the repair is the presence of many nuances of installation. Compared to laying ordinary ceramic tiles, the use of cement mortar for porcelain tile is prohibited. This is due to the fact that it is characterized by minimal porosity (practically does not absorb moisture), respectively, the cement will not be able to hold. For the installation of porcelain tile, it is customary to use two -component glue, characterized by excellent adhesive qualities.
Training
Before starting installation, it is necessary to carefully prepare the surface. First, to eliminate any defects, epoxy glue can be used. As an alternative, even cement mortar is suitable. However, it is recommended to add liquid glass to it.
Secondly, the surface must be cleaned of all kinds of dirt, dust, sand, etc.
Useful tips
Floor tiles are subject to significant mechanical loads. It is for this reason that the free space present under them can be the cause of the formation of cracks or a split. Thus, the optimal solution will be the use of a sufficiently liquid solution, completely covering the inner surface. Thanks to this, the free space will be a qualitatively filled.
During the installation of porcelain tile, taking into account its shape and size, you can use gear outbuildings or specialized “combs”. To get a strong and durable flooring, pay attention to the following recommendations:
Tile glue should be mixed with water until the solution is homogeneous. Before use, it is recommended to additionally knead.
You need to pour such a amount of solution on the surface as necessary. Otherwise there is a chance that a crust will begin to form on it.
Dilute the finished mass and evenly distribute on the surface with the help of a trowel. Initially, the contact layer, and then – “rowing”.
