Every year, aerated concrete is becoming increasingly popular, especially when it comes to low -rise construction of country houses. The construction of houses from aerated concrete (foam concrete) has become so in demand at the current time, because, compared with traditional wall materials like brick, neat and beautiful aerated concrete blocks have many advantages.
First of all, they are surprisingly easy, which is due to the porous structure of the material. A standard block that can alone replace 22 bricks that weighing at least a hundred kilograms at once, weighs only 27 kg. And all because it is made of cellular concrete, which, with its high strength and durability in structure, is slightly different from the usual foam or expanded clay. Due to the low weight of the blocks, not only their use on the construction site is facilitated, but also delivery to the construction site. In addition, it turns out to be good to save on the construction of a massive expensive foundation, in the styling of which there is no need.
Another important advantage of aerated concrete is its low thermal conductivity, again, provided by its cellular structure. The use of foam concrete and aerated concrete in construction allows you to reduce heating costs in the cold season by at least a third, and this is not the limit. In this case, such concrete has the ability to accumulate heat inside yourself and give it to the room if necessary. It is hard to believe, but in its thermal insulation qualities a wall of blocks of standard thickness is six -centimeter brickwork. And in terms of sound insulation characteristics, the block exceeds the brick to ten times.
